Surge arresters of type PROXAR-IVN AC in silicone housing are designed for surge protection of AC power networks against multiple lightning, switching or casual surges. With particular regard to generators, large capacitor banks, generator breaker assemblies, MV switchgear as well as AC electric traction systems and traction vehicles. It is designed for all special requirements. It is manufactured up to Ur=144kV and is also used in HV networks.
